More Respectable Than Most

Notes:

"More Respectable Than Most" is a piece about experiencing new and unconventional art for the first time. The text is taken from Berlioz's memoirs regarding his first experience of hearing Beethoven. With the exception of the string quartet, the sounds in the piece derive from a small palette of musical objects: two crystal wine glasses and two wine bottles, recorded and subtly modified.
